Maji Moto Eco Camp is a small, environmentally-sensitive retreat nestled on a hilltop deep in Masai lands and overlooking vast savannah plains. Operated by Masai people from the nearby village of Maji Moto, the camp offers the intense natural beauty of the Loita Hills and the ancient culture and knowledge of the Masai. Accommodation consists of igloo tents fitted with mattresses, pillows, bedding, and towels, and there is a shared ablution block with showers. Guests can enjoy dining in the communal dining room where the camp's Masai cook prepares the meals in a simple but delicious way, blending traditional Kenyan and international cuisine. Guests can enjoy a splash in the hot spring, go on guided nature walks, learn about animal tracks and tracking them, learn how to become a Masai Warrior and visit local schools.
